Eligibility Criteria for the Pakistan Accelerated Vehicle Electrification Program
To qualify for the Pakistan Accelerated Vehicle Electrification Program, applicants must fulfill specific government-set requirements. The eligibility criteria ensure fair access to all citizens while prioritizing certain groups for inclusion. Below are the key requirements:
- Pakistani Citizenship: Applicants must be citizens of Pakistan.
- Minimum Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older.
- Valid CNIC: A valid Computerized National Identity Card is mandatory.
- Special Quotas: Women, disabled individuals, and overseas Pakistanis will be given priority.
- No Prior Benefit from Similar Schemes: Applicants should not have already availed similar government subsidies for electric vehicles.
- Residency Proof: Must provide proof of permanent or temporary residence in Pakistan.
