Popular fast-food chain In-N-Out has reportedly removed the number 67 from its order system following the rise of a viral 6-7 trend on social media.
According to a report by People Magazine, the company decided to stop using the number after kids and teenagers began hanging around stores just to hear “67” called out. Once the number was announced, groups would often break into loud and unruly 6-7 celebrations, disrupting normal restaurant operations.
Employees have confirmed that the number has not been used in the order system for nearly a month. As a result, In-N-Out’s internal order numbers now skip directly from 66 to 68.
The viral trend, which gained traction on platforms like YouTube and TikTok, created unexpected challenges for staff and customers alike. By removing the number, the company aims to keep the ordering process smooth and maintain a family-friendly environment inside its restaurants.
